Housing No Kākou is a broad coalition united by a shared mission to remove the barriers to housing. We are affordable housing advocates, non-profit organizations, home builders, building industry professionals, community leaders, and organizations committed to promoting reforms that make homeownership attainable for prospective buyers and protect new homeowners from issues that threaten their overall quality of life.

We envision a Hawaiʻi where homeownership is both attainable and sustainable for all residents. In this vision, every family has the opportunity to buy a home, and new homeowners have a fair, reliable process for addressing any issues that arise.

OUR PURPOSE

Housing No Kākou exists to drive essential changes that protect local families from exploitation and eliminate the hidden threats that prevent homeownership. Our purpose is to ensure that any new and aspiring homeowners have access to fair, timely resolutions for any reasonable issues that arise. Through education, advocacy, and collective action, we are committed to safeguarding the dream of homeownership by building a system that is just, efficient, and sustainable.
